This little place is awesome. I had the Burger chicken mixed with beef...melt right in my mouth. A stroke of genius hands cooking. If your in west palm def. Take an uber and enjoy a burger you won't be disappointed.

Meh. The menu was hard to understand and the patties were frozen and then over cooked. The fries were perfect. Hot, crispy and fluffy inside. That was the high light of our lunch. The garlic sauce and the pineapple sauce were really good. In closing, we will not be back.

I ate here with my dad and we both ordered Gordo burgers. I didn't eat the actual burger part. It just wasn't good. I did like the shredded beef in it, though...if that counts for something! It's definitely a lot of food for the price ($7). But what's the point if you barely eat it? Also, they do not have tap water available for their customers. Just bottled. I overlooked that while I was there because I really wanted to try the food, but my dad was really annoyed with that. Looking back, he's right. As a customer, why wouldn't you provide us with free water? C'mon Gordo's! Stop being weird.

The Colombian hot dog was delicious. The food here is great, I've been here before and got the burger which is also great. With that said, I found a piece of glass in the hot dog that almost killed me. When I mentioned it to them and showed them the glass, the guy working there said "are you sure?" They gave me no apology and didn't say anything whatsoever, just stared at me. I had to ask them to give me a refund because they didn't voluntarily do so. I will never eat here again because I don't want to eat glass and the treatment I received was shocking and horrendous , when I could easily sue them for negligence.

We have been here before and it's always the same...delicious! The combination of the mondo burger is unusual and even sounds gross but somehow it all works. The fries are crispy and fresh. Be brave and give it a try. The plaza is questionable but worth the adventure.

I have dined here before they expanded and added more seating. Whether it's midday or late night, everyone could use a gordo burger. Firstly, parking is terrible in this small complex. Once you find a spot, you're golden!! They have upgraded the entire space with electronic menu boards and rolling pictures of their food items. I haven't explored the menu aside from the mixed gordo burger - go big or don't dine here - so I'm a tad bias. The mixed gordo burger is a mountainous burger of deliciousness. I don't know all the details about its layers because quite frankly I'm stuffing my face as soon as it arrives to my table, but I know it has Colombian cheese (mild white cheese), pineapple sauce, garlic mayo, and some ruffles. I promise all the favors blend in harmony in your mouth, so don't alter the burger. That's a firm recommendation. It's a heavy burger, so please don't make any plans after you eat a burger besides a nap. Enjoy!!

These are the best burgers in the entire county. The sauces they use and extras they add on top really make it an amazing experience. The ingredients are quality and not frozen patties. Why people think a place serving quail eggs would cut corners on the beef baffles me. The menu is all digital with pictures so I am not sure why some reviewers found it hard to understand. The service from the gentleman behind the counter was perfect. The lady working was a bit rude but I will deal with that for the incredible food. These taste just like the burgers I love from Columbia and Easter Island...absolute perfection.

As a gringo it took a little while to figure this place out, so here's some tips to save you some effort: -You go up to the front registers to order. Be careful because my wife said the menu online is not the same as in the store. The ladies will try their best to figure out what you need if it isn't an exact menu item. My wife wanted a burger with just ketchup, lettuce and tomato. They don't have lettuce, but will give you a ton of ketchup and tomato slices. I took the Gordo Burger Mix which is three layers: beef patty, shredded chicken, & shredded beef. She told me that cheese, bacon, & crumbled potato chips come standard on that - I did not notice any bacon in my burger, but did not try to open it because the thing just barely hangs together to begin with. It also comes standard with thick melty cheese and like five different sauces including "pink sauce" and "pineapple sauce" which I am glad I told them to hold because I was already getting sick and may have horked. The burgers are the main attraction for this place - almost every person we saw eating had one. Mine came half wrapped in tinfoil in a little cardboard tray. The thing is monstrous and a good value at $7.00. I could only eat half and felt sick the rest of the night (just too much going on in the sandwich and I don't know if the patty is good quality). My wife said they char the patties and she did not like it - threw away half the sandwich and had to wipe off alot of ketchup. -There's a good kids menu. We ordered chicken nuggets and french fries. Unfortunately fries already come with the chicken nuggets so we had a ton and wasted some money. On the plus side, the french fries are heavily fried and taste really good. The chicken nuggets are also thick fried and really crunchy. -Tried the "Arepas" - they are basically a pancake made of out corn mush with thick melty cheese on top. It was alright, but nothing to spend $3.00 on. If you have to try it maybe just get the $1.50 kids size. -They have bottled drinks consisting of gatorade $1.50, bottled water $1.25, and some misc. imported sodas probably from South America. The silverware and napkins are at a station located across from the registers. They will give you a little number you place on your table when you order and the people will bring the food to you. The dining area is a little bit loud with music and tv's and was crowded when we went on a Friday Night. There was outside seating that nobody was using. It was really dark outside and noisy too with people and cars moving all around. -My family did not like the place enough to go again, but it seems like they have a good following gringos and non-gringos alike. For my money I'd rather get a McDouble for a buck and not waste anything.

Ok, I actually read the reviews here a few times but no matter how good everyone said the burgers are, the photos never looked appealing to me,so I always passed. After a late night of poker a few of the guys were talking about this place and after I expressed how I felt, they dragged me here. I ordered the Gordo Burger Beef on Beef and a side of empanadas. Empanadas were crispy and very light. I enjoyed them very much. I had some fries off my friends plate and the were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle....good stuff. Burgers were interesting at best. All the different sauces were a little overwhelming. I probably could have passed on the shredded meat in the burger. This seems to be a perfect place to go late night for drunk food. Worth a try once, but then again....isn't anything?

I love the burgers, hot dogs, maicitos and everything this place serves really. I usually mostly get the burger. I live really far away THATS WHY I don't go too often. Their burgers are the cheesiest anywhere and I love that. I hate places that are cheap with the cheese-most all other places I know.... Great or best colombian fast food in the area and great prices.

I am a first timer a Gordo's but have heard about in from the teens in the family, I had the regular burger and it was very good... The different flavors that I wouldn't expect with this burger made it even better... Def not for anyone watching what they eat but every now and then for those of us who are metabolically challenged this is a nice treat. The service was good but a bit confusing when your items came from different areas if their kitchen... We were never sure if they would be calling our number or delivering to the table.. Overall the food was good and more than filling..

Gordo burgers are off the charts good! This place is gem and always packed--and for good reason at that, as the food and service are always good. Since opening a few years ago, this place has grown tremendously both in terms of physical size and menu options. I'm amazed by the variety every time I walk in even though I always gravitate towards their signature burgers.

Interesting place. Everything is in Spanish on the menu but you can figure it out. Made for a cool experience. Of course I got the Gordo burger (beef on beef). All the sauces made it so flavorful. I felt like the most unhealthy person in the world eating it, it really doesn't "look" that appetizing but it really was super tasty. I probably won't eat there again only because I personally felt out place because of the ethnicity (but nobody made me feel that way, it's just me) and if I wanna eat something fast, easy and bad for me, I could always just go to burger king which is much more convenient. Definitely worth trying at least once though.

I would've given them 5 stars but the service was bad. The food is very good. The gordo burger is huge and what I liked about it was that you can taste the char from the grill. The gordo hotdog is like any other Columbian style hotdog and also very good. We ordered the chicharron which was crispy and served with lemon wedges. I really enjoyed the shrimp ceviche served with crackers. It was seasoned perfectly. BUT, all the food came out separately. By the time the fries came out, we were done with our meal. The service was terrible.

I love that there's a late night Colombian place in this town. And the food is pretty good. What I really don't like is the service. The staple of a Colombian restaurant (even fast food) is excellent service. And I've never had so much as a smile from their employees which is really strange to me. I'd really like them to step up their responsiveness to their clients but so far I see no change in their direction.

Recently discovered this Colombian- themed gem. Had the beef gordo burger, and queso arepa. Both were delicious, the burger is on another level of flavor, packed with an impossible amount of awesome topping. No issue with the service, it was quick and friendly. It's funny how quickly the line can go from long to empty, right back to long again. Will be back for more soon!

It was my 1st time here and I had high but curious expectations due to the many 5 star ratings and interesting reviews from YELP. I took 5 boys with me and they all got the Gordo Burger so I opted for the Perro Hawaiian since I knew I would get to try my son's burger. My hot dog was amazing. I purposely did not try to figure out every thing that was on it but it was different from any other dog I have had and all of the ingredients went well together. The Gordo burger was awesome. I would have never guessed that a burger with shredded chicken would be a hit item but it went together like it was meant to be. The pineapple, special sauces, bacon, etc really make it a unique burger. The other food coming out around us looked good and I am looking forward to trying it again. My only small criticism it's that they do not have any fountain sodas and I do not like to drink soda from a can.

The food is good, but out of all the places I've been, this is by far, the place with the WORST service ever!!!!. They take forever to get your food and good luck of you ask your food to go, because they'll mess up your order all the time. Just don't waste your time. Is a shame how bad service can kill their good food. They day i went, i think the owner was there, because the lady who was ready to serve a burger got stopped by a dude, took the burger and told her go and make another. Customers are treated like garbage here. I just don't get it. Will never visit this place ever!

Ok, you must try this place! My Colombian boyfriend and I have been coming here for about a year. The burgers are awesome and something definitely different but oh so delicious! I always get the combo burger with shredded chicken and beef on it...Also had a pineapple sauce, tomato, crushed potato chips, another sauce and mozzarella cheese....oh Yea and a hamburger patty! What??!!!! Yummy...not the place to go if you are dieting tho! A lil bit of a Spanish vocabulary helps too!

This gorda lovessss the gordo burger. It really hits the spot when you feel like having something fatty and different. Only one time when I picked up my preordered food was there really bad service, they basically forgot one of our burgers and we had to ask them 2 or 3 times about it. I'd still go back as there is nothing else like the gordo burger around here that I know of.

Burger was awesome and filling. Like other posts this is not a diet place. If you want a large burger with everything great place to eat.

If you want to have a Heart attack come here. A good heart attack that is. You see I've always been coming here over the past years but never got the chance to write a review. I am a fan but I have mix feelings too So let's start... They claim their the "best burger" but eh I had better. Don't get me wrong, gordos have very unique burgers. Even with pineapples inside. I did enjoy my "Gordo burger mix" but you see they add so much stuff to it, you get fooled and forget the real meaning of the burger.. The patty.. It had this weird texture to it and a odd taste... Not like a burger patty should taste.. The shredded beef was dry. but over all it was alright you know.. They add a hint of mustard ( which they don't tell you about) to the burger which threw me off... It gives it a tangy taste but I personally hate mustard. What if I was allergic to it ?? I feel like Gordo burger is like a one night stand, here is why. When you go to a bar and have a lot to drink and meet someone who probably is a 6, your drunkness will trick you and make you believe that person a 10+++. When you have a gordo burger you feel like - wow I'm eating something epic... You got bacon, beef, chicken, chips.. But if you really sit down and think about it... They need all that crap for it to taste good.. And for the most part some of that stuff taste blah ( I'm taking about the beef) Anyways they have other good food here I'm kinda found of... Btw you will have to wait what seems light years for your food

This is one of those local places in town that everybody and their mother goes to for a late night treat, or after hitting the clubs all night. Awesome that it's open until 6am on weekends, when most West Palm clubs close 3-5. I used to get the Gordo burger, beef on beef, every time because that's what they're famous for, but I tried the hot dog and now it's my new favorite. I was hesitant about the quail eggs, but they're the best part of the dish. The pineapple sauce and crushed potato chips are everything. Gordo's is hands down one of my favorite hometown restaurants.

OMG! Thank you Yelp for turning me on to this amazing and totally sinful restaurant! I will never have a craving for a regular burger again. La Perrada Del Gordo is that good! I almost feel gypped that I didn't find this restaurant earlier. Do not let the location scare you away. The strip mall is run down and the restaurant is kinda tucked away but the inside is very clean and pretty modern. We ordered the regular hamburger, gordo burger, cheese arepa and yuca fries. I really really was shocked at the size of the Gordo Burger. It had to weigh a few pounds. Everything was amazing and to only spent $23.00 for all that yummieness is a steal! This is one of those places that I will be taking my friends and family to because I think everyone needs to experience these burgers at least once. I'm glad this place isn't closer to me because I would probably form a Gordo Burger addiction and weigh 500 pounds.

Ordered take out. Food was missing 4 of our items. Now we have some people who couldn't eat lunch. Very disappointed. The food we actually got was good. Nothing crazy delicious, tasted like pollo tropical, got the lunch rush. wish I could say it blew us away but it was sub par. :(

Cool place! Music was so loud that they couldn't hear phone orders, but they turned it down. The food here is not for the health-minded. Hence, most of the customers are college-age. Ok, the GORDO. This is my first experience with Colombian burgers so it was different for me. I am not that big on ground up potato chips, but hey, whatever. The shredded beef was fine and the bun was very good. My issue was with the beef patty. It had a weird texture that must have come from it being a pre-formed, frozen patty with some sort of bonding ingredients. Also, it was the saltiest meat I have ever had, including bacon! I had to take it off and finish the rest. I have had all kinds of maltas, but never a "Pony" Malta. It was pretty weird to me, so I didn't finish it. It reminded me of hay! All in all, 3 stars because they are trying and they are different. Ps. The bathroom needs cleaning...not because they were neglecting it, but it seems some of their customers can't aim!

I've recently died and gone to hamburger heaven. My girlfriend introduced me to this place recently, describing it as a jumbo hamburger joint that puts a lot of weird stuff on top of the burger. I instantly got very excited and off we went so I could try it. Two weeks and two visits later, I'm here to tell you that this place is the real deal and a very exciting fixture in my dining rotation. First off, this place is open until 5am. Next, the prices are very inexpensive, and for your $6.89, you get the following on your burger, and I quote (yes, I have the takeout menu right here by my keyboard): "Chicken or Beef Burger, with sauce of garlic, showy, pink, pineapple, mustard, ketchup; chips, cheese, tomato, bacon, Shredded Beef or Chicken." All of that stuff goes on the burger. I don't know what some of those items are, but it makes for a mountain of delicious flavors. I want to try their hotdog next, which has all that stuff and like 6 quail eggs on top. If any of the above DOESN'T sound appealing to you, I say at least try it once anyway, because it's so cheap. Highly recommended.

I ordered a grilled chicken breast and it was undercooked, you could see the blood. Also ordered a Salchipapas and it didn't have any sauces and there was non to get from the counter. When I ask the girl she simply said there is non right now in a very rude way. It looks like everyone is new and address not very polite. Not coming back here again for sure.

  • David K.

I was not a fan of all the sauce the burger was droning in. Also, if you advertise the best burger use real meat not prepackaged frozen processed patties. The burger was not made fresh on site and taste like a cheap burger you buy at the frozen food section of your local grocery store. I'll pass... Not at all what I was expecting.

Very good! Will definitely go back. I had the crazy hot dog with quail eggs, pineapple and chips on it. I did wish that the hot dog was fatter because with all the toppings it can get lost. My husband said that the burger was one of the best he's had. Very friendly and clean.

  • James V.

I had the pollo (chicken) Gordo burger. Pretty good. I'm satisfied. I probably won't eat there again any time soon seeing as how that probably just blew about two months worth of healthy eating. Nonetheless, it was tasty. I'm not sure what's on it other than a fried piece of chicken, something that tastes like mayo and something with a pineapple flavor, but whatever it is, thumbs up! Definitely worth a try! Thanks, Yelp! If I do return and try another dish, that may earn them that fifth star!

The Gordo Especial is amazing but most of the guys that work there are super rude and if u don't know the menu they do not give u the time to look or even help u decide. It really made me mad cuz I love the food and I woulda understood if they had a line but there was nobody behind me. But I am not saying don't go because the food is amazing but service is seriously lacking. I speak Spanish but I feel sorry for the people that don't and want to go here to try it because you won't understand them nor will they even try to help you. They just rush u through. That's why I gave 2 stars.

Warning! Not healthy atttt alllllll, but oh so delicious! Ordered the chicken Gordo burger. I didnt finish it or have sides and I was stuffed. Should have split it with someone. First off it is a chicken patty along with shredded chicken... And I couldn't even tell you everything else that was on it. All I know it is unlike any burger I've ever had and so tasty. There was crumbled potato chips and some pineapple sauce of sorts, nice touch!!!! I would definitely have it again (on occasion Lol its so heavy) but next time I'll split whatever I order with my husband. Interested in trying the hot dog concoctions.

Huge burger, pretty good if you are having some munchies. However if you are looking for something healthy don't come here! hence the name Gordos. I love the pineapple sauce.

I live in central Florida and my daughter, who lives in WPB constantly raves about the Gordo burger. Well, I came down for a visit this past weekend and we went to La Perrada del Gordo. All of her ravings were right on. The Gordo burger was the best ever. I must caution that what's good for your stomach isn't that good for your heart, but what the hell, you only live once.

After a long night of drinking nothing hits the spot better than a Gordo burger. Best late night eats you can find. Heavy spanish environment, don't be intimidated though by the rowdy club or crowd nearby.

    (4)
  • Natalie C.

Whoa! The Gordo burger is no joke. This burger is way over the top and ridiculously good. I mean it had potato chips and a secret pineapple sauce on it that was to die for. This is the kinda of burger that would hit the spot after a huge hang over. This monster was the size my head. I could probably eat this burger maybe once a year. They seem have a lot of off the wall things on the menu. The place is always packed and they are open late. I will definitely be back.

My son got the GORDO BURGER & I tasted it & it was awesome! I got the carne asada with beef & new potatoes & it arrived on a wooden cutting board. The steak was tender & lean and excellent. I will definitely go again!

I always satisfy any burger cravings with gordos! The taste is to die for. Upbeat music for a good modern atmosphere. Everything made fresh which is why it takes awhile to receive the food. Definitely a lot of calories.

I was impressed at the high reviews at this hole in the wall. To me, holes in walls with high reviews demand a visit! My expectations were low so I was impressed at the cleanliness and modern feel upon entering. They pretty much just do burgers. They do have some specials with chicken and steaks. But it is a burger place. Do not ask for lettuce, they don't have lettuce. The buns are very good. The meat is also very good. The condiments which they put on the burgers, individually, are great. However my suggestion is to create your own burger as there are just way too many toppings to have on one burger. There special sauce is awesome, but along with the potato chips, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, and tomato (all on the burger) is just too much at that point. And that's the small burger. Then, they have a burger with all that, plus ground beef or ground chicken on top of the burger. If cooking and eating a burger was a competition over who can get more stuff on a burger, they would win but that doesn't make the burger better. I'll take a delicious patty on a great tasting bun and single sauce and some vegetable or two. More than that, and you are just overloading your tongue and missing the taste of the main ingredient. Don't get me wrong, the place is great and I will be back. I just wont get all that stuff on the burger.

    (4)
  • Michel U.

Not a fan. My guess is this place is only popular with club kids due to their late hours and lack of competition since Denny's continues it's downward spiral as a late night eatery. When I go to a new place I always choose something on the menu that they boast about or are known for in their case the Gordo burger. It was big, expensive, but bland as can be. Also everything was a la carte and I just can't do a la carte in this economy. Not the least bit Impressed. Just go in stand in line, overpay, then sit, eat and leave.

    (1)
  • Kristopher S.

The Gordo burger is unreal the hamburger party is grilled so well then it's topped off with either shredded chicken or pork or both if you like. It's on a big bun along with pineapple sauce (which is so good) and crumbled potato chips. Ok - there is so much more going on with this burger that their isn't enough room in this review to tell you. Let me just say that the first time I ate a Gordo burger there were more flavors than I could describe ( in a good way ). It's all works together. A must try!!!!

  • Victoria S.

I really wanted to like this place more. The gordo burgers & even their standard burgers are definitely worth a try. The 3 stars are for their creative menu, reasonable prices, & actual tasty food. Places they need improvement: we waited over a half hour for 2 burgers & a hot dog with no special instructions. The hot dog was served significantly later than the burgers which arrived completely cold, as did the hotdog. They have no fountain drinks, which is disappointing because it's easy to polish off a can of soda or bottle of water when there's a wait that long before you're served. But the line to purchase more is way too long to consider getting back on it. Their hot dogs (not including toppings) are the cheap garbage hotdogs you'd get outside of a Walmart or via an outdoor fundraiser. Absolutely the lowest quality pork & fillers. The toppings tasted rotten because the hotdog was so crappy flavored. For the love of Tupac & Biggie, please offer a Kosher beef option for a dollar more. I might give this place another shot simply because it's inventive. But, it'll be a while.

I dream about this stuff. El perro huevon is a delicious hot dog smothered in pink sauce, fancy sauce, pineapple sauce (I think I may be forgetting another sauce) chips, bacon, cheese and quail eggs. Good god it's the best hot dog I've ever tasted. I usually order a Malta to drink and I'm good to go! Everything in their menu looks awesome but I usually stick to the perro huevon. Also, I love reggaeton which is usually playing, so I love the atmosphere, too.

Ohmigoodness, check out the size of this burger!!! I literally didn't even know how to tackle it at first but once I did, I was not disappointed... To be honest, can't even tell you all the contents of this gigantic burger, just know that they work well together... Ended up eating it in two servings with a few hours in between... Try the yucca fries they are probably one of the best I've ever had.

You cannot imagine a more delicious burger with contrast of sauce and meat. The chicharones were good. No one leaves here without being fully satisfies with flavors and quantity of food. You spend as much these days for crap at fast food restaurants and here it is fresh and quality. Plus they never sleep!

The quality of the meet is Garbage!!! Definitely pre-frozen patties. The concept is if their Gordo burger is great, but its like adding a bunch of toppings to make a Bubba burger taste good. Anyone who rating this place highly likes cheap food. I wish I would have read some of the other poor reviews, because they said the same thing about the patty quality. I can't believe this place has a lot of 5 stars. I couldn't even finish the burger... I go out of my way to support local businesses that are highly rated on Yelp, but this place is garbage.

Place is clean, neat and the staff is great. But the dang burger meat has all the flavor and texture of pre-made patties, which I suspect is the case. Toppings were very good but a bit over applied and the sauce too sweet for me. Some good quality hamburger and a little less of each of the trimmings and we could have a four.

I love the gordo burger but their waiting period is THE WORST THAT I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I am not exaggerating, every single time that I visit, average waiting period from the moment you walk in to when you leave with your food is about 35 minutes! The staff shows no eagerness to fulfill your orders....horrible. I just decided to leave there and not order, waste of my time.

Phenomenal place! The atmosphere is awesome....loud, bright, latin dance music playing. Very fun place! The Gordo Burger with shredded beef on top of the hamburger, mound of cheese and sauces is an explosion of flavor...fantastic! The chuletazo is a MUST HAVE! It is a thin pork cutlet coated in Italian style bread crumbs and fried perfectly. I always get it with the arepa wth cheese. It comes with sliced tomatoes on top and it is the length of an adult arm. Worth every penny of the $10! Must try! This place is also great at 3am after a long night....do not miss out!

I ordered 3 hot dogs. One of them without garlic or quail eggs. Waited 45 minutes for 3 hot dogs. When they brought them I asked if they made sure one didn't have the egg or garlic (I explained I'm allergic) and they said they were correct. I opened all 3 and they all had the egg. When they took it back they took the egg off and brought it back. I asked how did they know if they didn't put garlic & they said they knew. The same way they knew it didn't have the egg they just removed. I asked for my money back and they said they couldn't refund me... Then one of the guys was touching and opening the hot dog to show me what it had... Gross. At this point the guy made rude comments and proceeded to pretend to be making another one... I left without one of my hot dogs and without my money. NOT GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. Drove 40 min for nothing...

If anyone ever says, "Wanna get a Gordo burger?" You should already have your keys in hand. I dined late night - service was great and friendly; even after they closed, I wanted more food and they reopened the doors for me. :) It was my first Gordo burger and I just attacked that beast - really, really tasty and I would recommend it for a hangover cure. My hunger wasn't satiated, so I ordered two empanadas. Whatever green-chimichurri sauce that was given to me on the side... lovely! Fantastic! Time for dessert, right? Flan was great and instead of a Tres Leches, I had a Cuatro Leches (which was perfect.) Overall, I was stuffed and satisfied - you'll be seeing me again at La Perrada Del Gordo very soon.

This place was recommend by other Colombians that I knew. Ordered the Gordo burger and hotdog with quail eggs. Also ordered an empanada. Gordo burger was as big as my baby's head. It was tasty and crunchy from all the chips. The hotdog as good too with all the sauces and chips. The hotdog was a little skinny so i was eating mostly bread and the condiments. Will come back and bring my friends!

I love there burgers! The gooey cheese, pineapple sauce, and potato chips make them so good. It can get very messy and the staff could be friendlier, but overall, a must go.

WOW! I've had Colombian super perros before, but I've never had anything like the one I had at La Perrada del Gordo. I got the Perro Hawaiano and I'm just going to tell you that it was delicious and list the ingredients. 1. Hot Dog 2. Mozzarella Cheese 3. Garlic Sauce 4. Pink Sauce 5. Showy Sauce 6. Pineapple Sauce 7. Mustard 8. Ketchup 9. Bacon 10. Crushed Potato Chips 11. A Quail Egg on Top I think that's all you really need to know to decide if you're the kind of person that would enjoy La Perrada Del Gordo or not. They're open until 6:00 am. I went some time after 3, which I think is probably the best time to go.

We had the gordo burger and the arepa todo. The arepa was delicious and unlike anything else I've ever had. The burger was also pretty amazing. I'm American and lilly white so this food was all new for me. We found this place through yelp and we will definitely be back. The burger had a little too much sweet sauce on it- I don't know how it "should" be, but even with too much sauce it was REALLY good. The patty had a nice char on it, we loved the potato chips smashed up on it and the bun was soft and fresh, which I think is key. There was a slight language barrier, but the staff did speak english and everyone was very kind. Great find! They should have a food truck, they'd make a killing if they did it right.

There burger is like the best thing I've ever tasted. Although I go to this place so much and eat the burger so much, I kind of got tired of the hamburger patty. So now I just order Shredded beef and shredded chicken and it tastes wayyyyy better!!! Everytime my son see's that we arrive to the restaurant, he jumps up with joy. He loves the place. The service is good and the owners are very friendly and make guest feel welcomed whenever they are around.

I've been to many Colombian restaurants in search of the perfect burger and no one does it like Gordo's. Their arepas are also incredible. And they have a good selection of latin sodas - the apple postobon is a must try. Basically, Gordo's is the spot if you're looking for unique, delicious food at great prices.

WOW is all I can say! Went in with semi-high expectations, but I was simply blown away. The Gordo Burger is quite possibly my favorite burger hands down. That's a bold statement coming from a true burger aficionado. The price is fair too. The place is tiny, and the people are nice. The tostones were good, but a bit bland. I prefer sweet plantains and just wish they served those at this joint! Next up for me will be the dog. Do your self a favor and run...don't walk here....for the burger. It'll blow your mind with it's concoction of incredible flavors.

Where to start the area has a great atmosphere, music, food and people.. theres a little of everything in this latin (colombian) spot.. open very late (til like 5Am!!!) the Burgers are cooked very well and taste better than you can imagine... the toppings on their burgers, hot dogs, and everything else they have are different but a must try, because once you taste it you never look back. Sure the place isnt to roomy but outside theres plenty of space to chill and talk or just sit and eat... if your in the area stop by or i promise you, your missing out on a once in a lifetime eating/pleasuring experience.

I always like it when I go to a strip mall restaurant that has a classier interior than their cheesy signage would imply. The cartoon characters on the outside glass are goofy, but inside this place looks and acts like a neat operation. So, what constitutes Columbian burgers an hotdogs anyway? I have no idea! Apparently it has something to do with crazy toppings like pineapple sauce and quail eggs. My husband and I got the empanadas and some Burgers, which has so much on it it lives up to it's name! It's big, a little messy an heavy, but very good! Since the place is open so late I can see this being a nice place to get a bite after a night on the town. Very little seating inside, but they were quick with a to go order. Everyone inside was speaking Spanish but the cashier spoke clear English and was friendly. Thus isn't gourmet, but is a solid place for a unique $7 burger. They have a menu online, check it out. laperradadelgordo.net

After months of hearing co-workers rave about their infamous Gordo Burger, finally I was offered one. I can not even begin to name what was on it, other then pure burger goodness. Great flavors, great ingredients, almost a heart attack on a plate in the best possible way. This is not for the weak of heart or stomach.

Location of the place isnt that amazing, the seating is not for large parties but the Gordo Burger is to die for. Something very unique and it tastes as amazing as it looks. Great food and price, late at night.
